I've been using the X3 Live as a front of amp stomp only so far and love it, but I want to go further. CC parameters for V3: #81: Amp channel 1 (any change on CC#81) #82: Amp channel 2 (any change on CC#82) #83: Amp channel 3 (any change on CC#83) #84: Boost (OFF=0-63 / ON=64-127) #85: Loop1 (OFF=0-63 / ON=64-127) #86: Loop2 (OFF=0-63 / ON=64-127) My question is how do I acheive sending #81 thru #86, and then the offs for boost and loops? Hi All, Anyone have any experience hooking up an X3 Live to a Carvin V3 head? Can it control channel changes, boost though the midi. This allows you to switch ON/OFF different features on demand, without having to make MIDI program changes. This is a nice set up for me to have my tube amp a 2x12 1936. Kept working my way thru each Bank 1-32, A-D, and it toggles the amp channels at random (not truely, I just don't know the pattern) So looking at the Carvin V3 manual, I found below CC (CONTINUOUS CONTROLLER) COMMANDS: The V3 will respond to MIDI Continuous Controllers (“CC” commands). It toggles 1A to amp channel 1, 1B to amp channel 2, 1C to amp channel 3 so it's a foot switch at this point. Pod X3 Live to Carvin V3, midi by on 11: Ok, So I hooked it up to the V3 midi in / X3 Live Midi out.
